Class Descriptions Beginning Cardio Kickboxing ![]() Denise This class includes an introduction to kicks and punches and moves into short movement drills sure to deliver a great core and cardiovascular workout. Wednesdays 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. Beginning Step Julie This low-impact class provides the cardio benefits of step and concludes with abdominal work and stretching. Mondays 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. Belly Dance (Beginning) Malia Get a great workout while you learn the basics of belly dance. This beginning level class also touches on Middle Eastern and North African costuming, music, dance, and the cultures they evolved from. Wednesdays 7:45 - 9 p.m. Belly Dance (Intermediate) Malia Get a great workout while you learn the basics of belly dance. Classes begin with a warm-up stretch. Traditional movement vocabulary is taught in every class. Wednesdays 6:15 - 7:30 p.m. Body Sculpt Express Nora Get a total body strengthening workout during your lunch break! Use hand weights, tubes, steps, and more to tone muscles and increase flexibility. Mondays 12 - 12:40 p.m. Wednesdays 12 - 12:40 p.m. Complete Body Sculpt and Strength Donna Get a highly efficient, full-body workout using hand weights, bands, and balls to strengthen and sculpt all muscle groups, with a special emphasis on protecting and strengthening the back, knees, and abdominal area. Finish with a relaxing stretch. Thursdays 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Conditioning Basics Dana Develop upper body, core, and lower body strength through the use of hand weights, resistance bands, and balls as you complete a variety of gentle conditioning exercises. Tuesdays 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Thursdays 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Dance Aerobics and Stretch ![]() Donna Warm up with easy-to-follow, fun dance aerobics with modifications to accommodate all levels. Move on to a fast, furious and effective abdominal routine, then cool down and finish with a gentle, full-body stretch to leave you feeling flexible and relaxed. Tuesdays 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Gentle Yoga Debbie Gain a deeper understanding of the asana (poses) in this class based on the Iyengar style of yoga. The class is also influenced by the instructor's experience with mindfulness meditation and physical therapy. Mondays 6:15 - 7:30 p.m. Iyengar Yoga Maria Following the Iyengar method, learn the basic poses with proper alignment and precision while building strength, flexibility, stability, focus, and concentration. Great class for beginning and intermediate participants. Mondays 10 - 11:15 a.m. Fridays 10 - 11:15 a.m. Mystery Workout ![]() Denise Mix up your workout routine with the Mystery Workout! Class includes cardio, strength, and flexibility training using various workout techniques that will change from week to week. Saturdays 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Pilates Mary Condition your entire body while increasing your mind-body connection. Results are enhanced focus of breath and movement along with strength, length, and stability of your core muscles. Thursdays 6:45 - 7:45 p.m. Restorative Yoga Serena Relax and be restored in this yoga class that incorporates methods such as Kripalu, NIA, Feldenkrais, and somatic movements. Wednesdays 10 - 11:15 a.m. Zumba Nora Spice up your exercise routine! Get a great cardio workout while moving to Latin salsa rhythms. Add interval and resistance training for all-over strengthening.
