Spring is here! This is just a quick mini newsletter for now, with a couple of timely announcements and a couple of teasers for next month... Second Harvest food drive Our spring Second Harvest food drive is underway. For one in three students in San Mateo County, the end of the school year means the end of the healthy, filling school meals they count on. Through the Stop Childhood Hunger campaign, Second Harvest hopes to ensure that any kid who needs a meal can get one. The collection barrels are in the lobby of the club, and donations are welcome from all. For new members, we have a special on membership this month. When you join as a Basic or Premier member, simply donate a minimum of 10 cans (or other nonperishable food items) to our food drive and pay NO enrollment fee. That's a $99 savings! Class changes A few classes have days off this month. For example, Turbo Kick is off this Saturday (May 11), and Pilates Mat Basics will be off next Saturday (May 18). There are a few more, so be sure to check the class schedule for "off" dates for your favorite classes. New trainer We are happy to welcome Elly to our lineup of personal trainers! We'll have more information about Elly up soon. New class Gloria will be teaching a new dance cardio class on Saturday mornings, beginning June 8. Put it on your calendar now, and details will be coming soon. See you at the club! -- Stephanie and Anne We respect your privacy! We do not send spam or sell your email address. | |||
